  • Improve balance
  • Increase stability
  • Strengthen the upper body
  • Strengthen the lower body
  • Improve coordination

The TAP H2O Strength and Stability Trainer offers benefits that traditional weight training tools cannot provide. This device can be partially filled with water providing active resistance rather than static resistance. As it is moved during an exercise the water constantly shifts, actively recruiting the stabilizing muscles. Increasing the strength of the stabilizers can both decrease the risk of injury and improve athletic performance. Because of the additional balance and stability requirements, the weight required to challenge an athlete is less than the amount needed in traditional resistance training. The weight of the TAP H20 Strength and Stability Trainer can be altered simply by adding or removing water until the desired weight is achieved; the balance of the device volume is filled with compressed air. Less water makes the device more unstable. Many exercises performed with a traditional barbell or dumbbell can be performed with the TAP H2O Strength and Stability Trainer. The Trainer comes with adjustable handles providing an athlete varying grips to perform the desired exercise. The Red Trainer has a circumference of 21.75 inches, a length of 29.5 inches, and a maximum weight of approximately 45 pounds.

Tap Shoulder Tube Review

Tap Shoulder Tube

  • Increase blood flow to the arm
  • Improve shoulder flexibility
  • Increase shoulder and arm strength
  • Improve arm health and durability

The Shoulder Tube provides the overhand athlete an ideal way to condition and prepare the shoulder for the act of throwing. The deliberate oscillation of the Shoulder Tube™ in a slow, rhythmic fashion by moving the arm will cause the counterweighted ends of the Shoulder Tube to change directions stretching (eccentric phase) and shortening (concentric phase) the affected muscle group. The position of the Shoulder Tube™ and the direction it is flexed determines the muscle groups that are exercised. Controlling the omni-directional movement of the counter weights as the device is being moved through the shoulder’s full range of motion causes increased flexibility and blood flow to the shoulder complex. The construction and flexibility of the round shaft device permits the athlete to exercise the shoulder at an intensity that is self determined. The more energy that is used to move the device results in greater energy levels returned to the shoulder by the rotational motion of the counterweights. Using the Shoulder Tube is a great way to warm up for the act of throwing or cool down afterwards. It is an essential tool for the health and durability of all throwing athletes.

TAP Eagle Claw Grip Strength Trainer Review

TAP Eagle Claw Grip Strength Trainer

  • Increase grip strength
  • Improve wrist strength
  • Increase forearm strength
  • Improve functional strength
  • Can be used for similar exercises as a kettlebell

The TAP Eagle Claw Grip Strength Trainer provides athletes a valuable tool for increasing grip, wrist, and forearm strength. Grip Strength is often an overlooked element of functional training and is typically the weakest link in the kinetic chain. A strong grip is key to transferring power from the lower body, core, torso, and limbs through the hands, which is especially improtant in a sport like baseball where power needs to be transferred to the ball and bat. The Eagle Claw is designed specifically to accommodate pinching, gripping, and grasping through the range of motion of the exercise. Exercises vary but the Eagle Claw can be used in similar ways to a kettlebell such as performing swings, cleans, lunges, and other arm, shoulder and back movements. Throughout any exercise the athlete must keep his/her grip engaged thereby dynamically strengthening it.
